The content(edness) calendar-Day 3

I have always considered myself a citizen of the world: I am Rome as, no matter how insignificant is what I am doing, I put all my heart and passion towards it; I am London with my dry humour to laugh at disasters coming my way; I am New York and her promises to myself and the rest of the world; I am Tokyo in my profound respect for traditions and love for the future.

I started writing this blog with the purpose of sharing some authentic Italian recipes with a few people; but in these months I have been lucky enough to cross my path with some absolutely brilliant people that, day by day, have made my days brighter.

The quote I started this post with, is not only a line for the the Beatles song “The End”, but was also used to close out a lovely email I received today from a very talented fellow writer that I met here, Nancy Richy – theelephantstrunknr.wordpress.com

What I started just as a hobby, is now becoming a great tool to connect with people from around the world, that share the same passions I have, that are a source of inspiration, or that make me smile after a long day.

And I know, the Internet is a tricky monster: today you spend your day watching videos of pandas rolling in the grass, tomorrow you receive an email congratulating for the very substantial money you inherited from a relative you never heard of that was CEO of a company that never existed.

Well, there is more to be careful about when it comes to social media, fake news, data protection, etc… But we all had a long day and these posts are just to sprinkle some joy and glitter.

So for now, I think I will feel content of my panda videos, my fellow bloggers around the world, and my very colourful passport.
